Composition:
The active substances in a single dose of 0.45 ml (= 0.45 g) are: Arnica montana radix D2, Calendula officinalis D2, Chamomilla D3, Symphytum officinale D6, Millefolium D3, Belladonna D2 at 0.99 mg; Aconitum napellus D2 0.954 mg; Bellis perennis D2 0.495 mg; Hypericum perforatum D2 0.297 mg; Echinacea D2, Echinacea purpurea D2 at 0.2475 mg; Hamamelis virginiana D1 0.099 mg; Mercurius solubilis D6 0.495 mg; Hepar sulfur D6 0.99 mg. The other components (excipients) are: Aqua ad iniectabilia, Natrii chloridum.
Application:
| Adults & children from 12 years old: | 4x per day 3-4 drops in the affected ear |
| Children aged 6 to 11: | 4x per day 3 drops in the affected ear |
| Children aged 2 to 5: | 4x per day 2 drops in the affected ear |
| Children under 2 years old: | 4x per day 1-2 drop(s) in the affected ear |
- Reserved for external use. To be instilled in the external ear canal.
- Bring the single dose to room temperature by holding it in the palm of your hand for approximately one minute.
- Open the sterile single dose just before use, removing the tip after turning it. By applying light pressure on the single dose, the solution can be instilled into the ear.
- You must hold your head to the side for a few moments to allow the product to descend into the ear canal.
- The content of a single dose is sufficient for one application, therefore for a single instillation in the left ear and/or the right ear. Started single doses cannot be kept.
- If no improvement in symptoms is observed within 2 days, a doctor should be consulted.

1. What are Oteel ear drops, and what are they used for?
Oteel is a homeopathic medicine used to treat local (external) conditions related to the ear. It is used for the symptomatic treatment of earaches. If your symptoms worsen or do not improve within 48 hours, or if you develop a fever, please contact your doctor.
2. When should you not use Oteel ear drops or use them with caution?
When should you not use Oteel?
- If you are allergic to any of the active ingredients in this medicine.
- If you are allergic to plants from the Compositae (Asteraceae) family.
When should you exercise caution with Oteel?
If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. There is no sufficient data available on the effects of this medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Driving and operating machinery:
There is no known effect on driving or operating machinery.
3. How to use Oteel ear drops?
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are not sure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults and children over 12 years:
- 4 drops in the affected ear, 4 times daily.
Children under 12 years:
- 2 to 3 drops in the affected ear, 4 times daily.
Lie down on your side when applying the drops, and stay in this position for a few minutes to allow the drops to settle. You may experience a temporary worsening of symptoms at the start of treatment; if it persists, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If you forget to use Oteel: Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Simply continue with your next dose.
4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them.
5. How to store Oteel ear drops?
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not store above 30°C. After opening, use within 6 months. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer used.
