Description

Indications: Stimulation of the bodily defences in diseases of the mucous membranes and catarrhs of various types and localisations, e.g. in the alimentary canal with or without ulcers, in the region of the upper and lower parts of the respiratory tract, the urinary passages and the conjunctiva.

Contraindications: None known.

Side effects: In rare cases, skin reactions may occur. In this case, a therapist should be consulted.

Contraindications

Do not use Mucosa compositum if you are allergic to animal protein, any of the active substances, or any of the other ingredients of this medicinal product.

Special Precautions for Use

As a general principle, children should not be injected with more than 1 ml.

This medicinal product contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) sodium per ampoule, i.e. it is essentially “sodium-free”.

Interactions

Dosage and Method of Administration

Unless otherwise prescribed: Treatment requires individual dosing by a therapist experienced in homeopathy.

For self-medication, only 1 ampoule should be injected intramuscularly (i.m.), subcutaneously (s.c.), or intravenously (i.v.).

For continuation of therapy, it is recommended to consult a therapist experienced in homeopathy.

Duration of Treatment

As with all medicinal products, homeopathic medicinal products should not be used for prolonged periods without medical advice.

Ampoules must be used immediately after opening. Opened ampoules must not be stored or used later, as sterility of the injection solution can no longer be guaranteed.

Open the ampoule carefully and follow the instructions.

Side Effects

As with all medicinal products, this medicinal product may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

In individual cases, skin reactions may occur; in such cases, the product should be discontinued.
