Indigestion, Constipation Due to Sluggish Liver and Gallbladder
Ingredients: Carduus marianus D4, Carbo vegetabilis D6, Magnesium sulfuricum D6, Mandragora e radice siccato D4, Ethanol, Aqua pur.
Indications:
Indigestion caused by sluggish functioning of liver and gallbladder, constipation, flatulence, sensation of pressure and fullness in the right upper abdomen.
Mode of Action:
All the single components of this homoeopathic combination remedy show in their remedy picture a tendency to affect the symptoms of constipation with hepatogenic origin.
Carduus marianus: In particular, relates to the hepato-biliary system. Main symptoms of the remedy picture are a slowing and inactivity of the portal circulation. Sensation of fullness in the area of the liver, constipation; stool is hard, dark and in small lumps.
Magnesium sulfuricum: This remedy relates in particular to the gastrointestinal tract and liver. The main symptoms being metabolic weakness of the liver with distension of the abdomen, sensitivity to pressure in the area of the liver and gallbladder, nausea and pressure on the stomach.
Mandragora e radice siccato: This remedy relates to the liver and the gastrointestinal tract. The main symptoms being bloating, unnecessary urge to defecate, constipation with hard ball-shaped stool, the sensation of not having finished after defecating.
Dosage:
Unless otherwise recommended, in acute cases 5–10 drops up to a maximum of 12 times daily; in chronic cases 5–10 drops 3 times daily in a little water.
