Inflammation Drops
Ingredients:
Apis mell. D4, Barium chlorat. D6, Belladonna D4, Calcium jodat. D4, Hepar sulf. D12, Kalium bichrom. D4, Lachesis D12, Marum verum D6, Mercur. subl. corr. D5, Phytolacca D4
Indications:
Local inflammations, acute and chronic, of catarrhal and purulent nature, with swelling of the glands.
Sudden infections and high fever, conjunctivas and pharynx.
In particular:
• Inflammations of the lymphatics of the pharynx
• Tonsillitis
• Scarlet fever
• Otitis media
• Conjunctivitis
• Iridocyclitis
• Inflammations of the maxillary sinus and of the dental roots
• Inflammations of glands; mumps
• Acute rheumatic polyarthritis
• Monarthritis
• Lymphangitis
• Inflammations, abscess, whitlow, furuncles and carbuncles
Mode of Action:
• Apis mell.: Inflammatory infiltrations, oedematous swellings
• Barium chlorat.: Chronic diseases with swelling and suppuration of glands in children
• Belladonna: Inflammatory hyperemia of skin, mucous membranes, and glands; high fever, delirium, moist feverish skin
• Calcium jodatum: Chronic tonsillitis in children, enlarged lymph nodes on neck and nape
• Hepar sulfuris: Tendency for catarrh
• Kalium bichromicum: Exudation of mucous membranes in nose and pharynx; viscous, stringy mucus; mucosal ulcers
• Lachesis: Acute pyogenic infections; cardiac irregularities
• Marum verum: Adenoid vegetation; chronic catarrh of the postnasal space
• Mercur. subl. corr.: Acute mucosal inflammations involving glands; sticky perspiration
• Phytolacca: Swelling and dark reddening of the pharynx and tonsils; radiating pain up to the ears
Dosage:
Acute infections with high fever:
10–15 drops in some water every ½ hour for ½ to 1 day.
Follow the same dosing for purulent inflammations (e.g. tonsillitis, furuncles).
After improvement: every 1–2 hours.
After recovery: 10–15 drops, 2–3 times a day for about a week.
Chronic inflammation:
2–3 times a day, 10–15 drops.
Constitutional modification in chronic glandular hypertrophy of children:
Once a day, 5–8 drops in some water for a longer period.
