MAIN INDICATIONS
MD-THORACIC is a medical device designed to improve the movement of the vertebral spine's thoracic segment and to reduce the associated pain, counteracting the physiological or pathological deterioration of the joints and tissues involved in cases of:
• Thoracic spinal ligament syndrome
• Disorders due to bad posture
• Dorsalgia:
- of muscular/nerve origin
- due to aging
- due to bad posture
- due to concomitant chronic diseases
- due to traumas and injuries.
Treatment can be combined with other therapies.
THERAPEUTIC PROTOCOL:
Periarticular administration: 2 treatments for the first 2 weeks; then 1 treatment until the symptoms improve. Results are evident from the third week but, depending on the patient's clinical situation, it is possible to continue treatment up to the tenth week without risk.
For chronic conditions: continue with 1 treatment per week for a month until the symptoms improve, and thereafter with 1 treatment per month.
COMPOSITION
Collagen of porcine origin, Cimicifuga, NaCI, Water for injection.
PACKAGE
Box of 10 vials (single vial 2 ml - extraction volume).
INJECTION ROUTES OF ADMINISTRATION
Periarticular, intramuscular (trigger points).
SUGGESTED NEEDLE
Periarticular: 26G x 13 mm needle; intramuscular: 26G x 13 mm needle.
Note: Disinfect the skin thoroughly with iodopovidone or chlorhexidine.
INJECTION TECHNIQUES OF ADMINISTRATION
• Periarticular administration: insert the needle near the joint to a depth of 6-13 mm.
• Intramuscular administration: insert the needle into the trigger points to a depth of 5-8 mm.
