MAIN INDICATIONS
MD-KNEE is a medical device designed to improve the movement of the
knee and reduce associated pain, counteracting physiological or pathological deterioration of the joint.
Scientific evidence shows the efficacy and safety of MD-KNEE in cases of:
• Femoro-tibial/patellofemoral gonarthrosis
• Patellofemoral chondropathy
• Arthrosynovitis
• Ligament lesions
• Meniscopathy/Meniscosis
• Gonalgia:
− due to aging
− due to bad posture
− due to concomitant chronic diseases
− due to traumas and injuries.
Treatment can be combined with other therapies.
THERAPEUTIC PROTOCOL:
1-2 infiltrations per week to contain physiological or pathological deterioration of the knee joint.
Results are evident from the third week but, depending on the patient's
clinical situation, it is possible to continue treatment up to the tenth week
without risk.
COMPOSITION
Collagen of porcine origin, Arnica, NaCl, Water for injection.
PACKAGE
Box of 10 vials (single vial 2 ml – extraction volume)
INJECTION ROUTES OF ADMINISTRATION
Periarticular and intraarticular.

•Periarticular: 26G x 13 mm needle.
•Intraarticular: 22G x 32 mm needle.
Note: Disinfect the skin thoroughly with iodopovidone or chlorhexidine
INJECTION TECHNIQUES OF ADMINISTRATION
• Periarticular administration: insert the needle close to the joint, at the
point of greatest pain, to a depth of 9-13 mm.
• Intraarticular administration: identify the triangular-shaped area
delimited by the margin of the patellar tendon, that of the femoral
condyle and the upper margin of the tibial plateau (both medial slope
and lateral side). In the centre of the above area, insert the needle
keeping it parallel to the tibial plateau and rotated approximately 45°
from to the frontal plane.
