Product status
Homeopathic medicinal product for diseases of the digestive organs.
The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. These include:
supportive treatment in cases of liver function disorders.
Contraindications
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to quinine, known hypersensitivity to
Lycopodium clavatum (clubmoss spores), Silybum marianum (milk thistle),
other plants of the daisy family, or if you are allergic to any of the active substances
or any of the other ingredients of this medicinal product.
Precautions for use
This medicinal product should not be used in children under 2 years of age.
Liver diseases generally require medical clarification and monitoring. Drug treatment does not replace
avoidance of causes that damage the liver, for example alcohol.
In the event of persistent, unclear or newly occurring symptoms, gallstone disease, obstruction of the bile ducts,
or jaundice, a doctor should be consulted.
This medicinal product contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) sodium per ampoule, i.e. it is essentially “sodium-free”.
No effects on the ability to drive or use machines are known. When used as recommended,
no influence on driving ability or the use of machines is expected.
Interactions
The effect of a homeopathic medicinal product may be adversely influenced by generally harmful lifestyle factors
and by stimulants and luxury foods.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have recently used,
or intend to use other medicinal products.
Dosage and method of administration
Unless otherwise prescribed:
Adults and children from 12 years: in acute conditions inject 1–2 ml daily i.m., s.c., i.c., or i.v.
In chronic conditions inject 1–2 ml i.m., s.c., i.c., or i.v. 1–3 times weekly.
Children from 6 to under 12 years: 2/3 ampoule (0.7 ml) 1–3 times weekly;
for acute complaints, 2/3 ampoule (0.7 ml) daily i.m., s.c., i.c., or i.v.
Children from 2 to under 6 years: 1/2 ampoule (0.55 ml) 1–3 times weekly;
for acute complaints, 1/2 ampoule (0.55 ml) daily i.m., s.c., i.c., or i.v.
Once symptoms improve, the frequency of use should be reduced.
Acute dosing for more than 1 week should only take place after consultation with
a doctor or practitioner experienced in homeopathy.
Duration of use
As with all medicinal products, homeopathic medicinal products should not be used for prolonged periods
without medical advice.
Instructions for use
Do not use a double dose if you have forgotten the previous application.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicinal product, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Side effects
In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions such as skin allergies or fever may occur after using medicinal products
containing quinine. In such cases, consult a doctor.
Sensitization to quinine or quinidine is possible.
Note: When using homeopathic medicinal products, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen
(initial aggravation). In this case, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
Instructions for opening the ampoule
Coloured dot facing upwards. Allow the solution in the ampoule tip to flow down by tapping or shaking.
With the coloured dot facing upwards, pull the ampoule tip backwards to break it off.
Open the ampoule carefully and follow the instructions.
Composition
1 ampoule of 1.1 ml (= 1.1 g) contains:
- Chelidonium majus Dil. D6 – 1.10 mg
- Phosphorus Dil. D5 – 0.55 mg
- Veratrum album Dil. D5 – 2.20 mg
- Citrullus colocynthis Dil. D5 – 3.30 mg
- Lycopodium clavatum Dil. D2 – 1.10 mg
- Cinchona pubescens Dil. D2 – 1.10 mg
- Myristica fragrans Dil. D3 – 1.10 mg
- Silybum marianum Dil. D1 – 0.55 mg
Active substances 1–4 are jointly potentized over the last 2 steps with water for injections.
Other ingredients: water for injections, sodium chloride.
Pharmaceutical form and pack sizes
Liquid dilution for injection.
Packs of 10 or 100 ampoules of 1.1 ml.
Storage
Keep medicines out of the reach of children.
Do not use after the expiry date printed on the container and outer packaging.
No special storage conditions are required.
