MAIN INDICATIONS
MD-MATRIX is a medical device designed to improve movement, contributing to contain physiological deterioration of connective tissues and of the extracellular matrix.
MD-MATRIX’s main indications are:
• Aesthetic and regenerative medicine
− To firm up the subcutaneous or microvascular connective layer of localised adiposities and fibro-edemo-geloid exuberances of the connective layer (thighs and knees)
− As a topical, mesotherapeutic or subcutaneous injection treatment to counteract physiological aging and other skin tissue and subcutaneous tissue alterations (abdominal area, knees)
• Osteo-arthro-myofascial pathologies
The following associations are clinically documented:
− with MD-MUSCLE and MD-NEURAL for the treatment of facial neuralgia
− with MD-HIP for the treatment of hip osteoarthritis
− with MD-SHOULDER for the treatment of acute scapulohumeral periarthritis and subdeltoid bursitis.
Treatment can be combined with other therapies.
THERAPEUTIC PROTOCOL:
Periarticular, intradermal, and subcutaneous administration: 1-2 infiltrations per week for 3-5 weeks.
Results are evident from the third week but, depending on the patient's clinical situation, it is possible to continue treatment up to the tenth week without risk.
COMPOSITION
Collagen of porcine origin, Citric acid, Nicotinamide, NaCl, Water for injection.

INJECTION ROUTES OF ADMINISTRATION
Periarticular, intradermal, subcutaneous.
SUGGESTED NEEDLES
Periarticular, intradermal, subcutaneous: 26G x 13 mm needle.
Note: Disinfect the skin thoroughly with iodopovidone or chlorhexidine.
INJECTION TECHNIQUES OF ADMINISTRATION
• Periarticular administration: insert the needle near the joint to a depth of 4-6 mm.
• Intradermal and subcutaneous administration: insert the needle to a depth of 2-4 mm and then perform microinjections of 0.2-0.3 ml in the tissue to be treated.
